Resumo

A didactic experience of posing and solving problems is presented, with primary and secondary teachers. From a situation that occurred in a fruit sales stall, consisting of the gift of 2 tangerines for the purchase of each 3 kilograms of peaches, Problem Q was created and presented to the participants, so that they solve it and have as a reference to create and solve new problems. The collaborative work of solving and posing problems led to a careful examination of the "direct simple rule of three", cases of direct proportionality with discrete variations and the use of adequate tables that express non-injective functions.
